Anthonio & Caieca Love Story

Despite living 80 minutes away from each other, we met at sea on the Carnival Breeze. On August 4, 2019, while we were attending a presentation about shore excursions, the cruise director told everyone to turn to their neighbor and introduce themselves. Caieca was sitting in front of Anthonio, and once she turned around, we introduced ourselves. Little did we know, that moment would change our lives forever.

The proposal took place prior to setting sail on the Carnival Freedom. As our stateroom was ready, Caieca was waiting in line for food. Anthonio snuck away to the room to place photos of memorable moments throughout the room, in addition to decorations he had already arranged through Carnival. When Caieca saw the room for the first time, she was in awe of how the room was decorated. After Anthonio professed how he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Caieca, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. What was initially planned as a getaway cruise turned into an Engagement cruise.

Our wedding took place on September 9, 2023 at The Gran Centurions in Clark, NJ. We had an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception. It was truly the best day ever.

We required all of guest to wear white semi-formal attire. All of our guests were special to us, so having them wear white made them all part of the ceremony. Because they were all part of the ceremony, we did not have any bridesmaids or groomsmen. Everyone looked so amazing and beautiful.

We also had a 360 booth and a cruise ship cake topper.
