A Story of Illuminating Dreams

Alpha-Lit Marquee Letters had its humble beginnings in March 2019, founded by Mackenzie Skipper, an industry veteran with over a decade of experience in events. Inspired by her own wedding planning experience, Mackenzie sought marquee letters but couldn't find what she envisioned within a 250-mile radius. Following her marriage to Dan Skipper, the couple took the leap and launched Alpha-Lit Marquee Letters Dallas.

Today, two years and over 100 locations later, Alpha-Lit continues to illuminate events across the United States. What sets Alpha-Lit apart is that all of their marquee letters are proudly made in the USA. Chris Freeman, a seasoned fabricator with 20+ years of welding expertise, has been crafting these stunning letters from the very beginning. Chris's journey into welding began at the young age of 16, working in his family's sheet metal fab shop in Tuscaloosa, AL. After college, he became a junior partner and eventually started his own metal shop in 2012, now responsible for manufacturing letters for all Alpha-Lit locations.
