Ianna and Miriam, hailing from Venezuela, form the heart and soul of Custom Cakes by I&M Bakers. A unique daughter-mother team, they infuse their creations with warmth and dedication. Miriam, the company owner, is the culinary artisan behind the scrumptious baking, while Ianna takes on the roles of cake designer, primary decorator, website administrator, and handles communications and social media management. Their close-knit collaboration is a testament to the love they share not only as family but also as artistic partners.

The Journey of I&M Bakers

The bakery's journey began in the family's own home kitchen in Orlando, Florida, in 2018. The impetus for its creation was deeply personal – Miriam's battle with breast cancer. Faced with the need for continuous funding for treatments and healthcare, the family decided to harness their passion and expertise in baking to overcome this challenge. Thus, I&M Bakers was born.

Initially offering cookie and cupcake decorating classes to friends and family, their talents quickly garnered attention. As the demand for their beautifully adorned cookies and custom birthday cakes grew, the scope of their services expanded to include wedding cakes and wedding treats.

In 2022, the realization of their affinity for crafting wedding cakes led I&M Bakers to pivot their focus towards wedding packages, cementing their reputation as wedding cake specialists. Despite the challenges posed by Miriam's ongoing treatment, her resilience and enthusiasm shine through, motivating the team to continue creating edible masterpieces.
