Our History

More than three decades ago, Robert M. Alexander had a vision: to create a transportation company that delivered world-class service to every client. Starting with a one-car errands service called Errands Plus, operating out of his basement and primarily catering to senior citizens, Robert learned the value people place on punctuality and reliable solutions. He reinvested every penny and transformed his small venture into what we now know as RMA Worldwide Chauffeured Transportation.

Our founder and leader, Robert Alexander, has been at the helm of RMA Worldwide Chauffeured Transportation since its inception in 1988. His dedication to the industry and commitment to enhancing it is evident through his roles in organizations such as the National Limousine Association, where he has served on the board for a decade. Robert has also taken up the roles of Treasurer and Co-Chair of the Association's Charity Committee. Additionally, he has been the President of the Washington Metropolitan Limousine Association, showcasing his passion for the transportation industry.
