Carin Lomax, the founder and creative force behind Events Extraordinaire, is a woman of many talents. After her graduation from Penn State with a degree in Political Science, Carin ventured into the world of politics and law in Washington, D.C. Fate intervened when she fell in love and realized her true calling was in event planning. She pursued her passion by enrolling in George Washington University's event planning program.

In 2002, Events Extraordinaire was born, marking the beginning of a remarkable journey. Carin's unique blend of detail-oriented meeting planning skills and a deep-seated love for creativity has made her a standout figure in the industry. Her ability to truly listen to her clients and maintain composure in high-pressure situations sets her apart.

Carin, now residing in Falls Church, Virginia, balances her career with family life, sharing her home with her husband Jason, their two sons, Justin and Bennett, and their beloved yellow lab, Luna. When not immersed in event planning, Carin enjoys indulging in Law and Order SVU reruns and sipping on anything with Tequila. She also harbors a dream of being a prosecutor, putting away the bad guys, and has a knack for old-fashioned handwritten thank you notes. As a former NCAA All American Fencer and Women's National Champion, Carin has a remarkable claim to fame. Her happy place? A beach chair in Duck, North Carolina, in the Outer Banks.
