Hailing from Sao Paulo, Brasil, Daniela's affinity for baking ignited at an early age. She formalized her passion by graduating from a renowned pastry school in 2002, which led her to work in esteemed 5-star hotels such as The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida, and The Phoenician in Scottsdale, Arizona. Notably, she also served as a Pastry Chef for Top Chef Celebrity David Burke in New York City.

Daniela's exceptional skills and meticulous attention to detail gained her recognition, resulting in prestigious opportunities. She crafted cakes for Dubai royalties, dignitaries, and even the Obamas. In 2012, fueled by her aspiration to own her own business, Glace Cakes - New York was born. Following its initial success, Daniela and her husband relocated the business to Austin, Texas in 2017, where her husband, a skilled baker in his own right, now contributes his talents to the creation of the cakes served on couples' special days.
