Situated in an idyllic agricultural district, our venue is conveniently located within easy driving distance of Saratoga Springs, Albany, Troy, NY, as well as Bennington, VT, and Williamstown, MA. Barns for Every Occasion:
The Scottish Barn and German Barn, our two spacious and elegantly restored barns, are perfect for wedding receptions. They can be used simultaneously, allowing for dinner in one and dancing in the other. The largest of the three barns can comfortably seat up to 180 guests for dinner. For larger gatherings of up to 250 guests, we offer the option to rent a tent. The smaller Corn Crib barn serves as a versatile space for memorabilia, a photo booth, gifts, or refreshments.

The aspen grove near the Corn Crib is a favored spot for wedding ceremonies, providing a natural and serene backdrop. Don't miss the opportunity to capture romantic moments against the backdrop of our great stone wall, located behind the German Barn.

A Rich Heritage:
The Nipmoose Farm, named after the adjacent creek, has a storied past dating back to the late 1700s. Originally a hub for livestock and crops, it transitioned into a dairy farm in the early 1900s. The crown jewel, the Scottish Barn, boasts a unique timber frame design dating back to the 18th century. The Corn Crib and farmhouse, likely constructed in the early 1800s, are steeped in history. The Scottish and German barns were transported to their current location over a century ago, and the Corn Crib joined them in 2002, as part of our commitment to preserving our rich agricultural heritage. The entire farm is proudly owned by The Persistence Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to land conservation and the preservation of agricultural history.
