John's photography journey began at the age of 15 when he sold his first portrait. Eager to refine his craft, he apprenticed with master photographers while pursuing Fine Arts and Anthropology at Southern Methodist University. Post-graduation, he embarked on a transformative adventure in Japan, earning a black belt in Kendo and honing his artist’s eye through photographic odysseys across Asia, Europe, and Central America.
