Truly do not have the right words to express how much Melissa and her team made not only the day of, but entire wedding process so enjoyable, stress free, and seamless. Melissa is an incredible wedding planner, and I am so happy we chose KTSE for full service wedding planning. Her wedding portal kept us on track throughout the year, she attended every meeting with us (flowers, bakery, rentals, etc) and her vast knowledge and experience in the industry allowed us to trust her from the very first conversation. On top of a seamless year of planning, Melissa and her team were absolutely MAGIC on the day of. I still have so many guests raving the KTSE team! The transitions were so smooth and they kept the day running without a hitch. She has an A, B and C plan so i never had to worry about a thing. Choosing KTSE was the best decision we made through our entire wedding planning process. I can truly say that I did not stress one bit, which allowed us to enjoy this special time in our lives. Melissa and her team are Out of This World! When I say that, I mean saying WOW! times infinity because they are that amazing. I researched several wedding planners in the Wilmington area, and once I had an initial consultation meeting with Melissa (lead planner), I knew she was destined to be my wedding planner. I wanted to plan most of my wedding and so I went with her Wedding Management Package with Design since I was not sure how to exactly put all my ideas together. Once I received access to her wedding planning portal, I was just getting more excited about my wedding because the portal offered everything for a bride to keep organized. The portal was very impressive as it offered a timeline of to-do task, spreadsheets of all sorts (guest list, budget, etc). When it came time for the design meeting, Melissa put all my ideas together and created an initial design board and I was just stoked! She immediately knew which florist would meet my expectations and "aesthetics" which was Designs by Dillon. Melissa listened to me, details, and vision I had mentioned throughout the planning process.

The few weeks leading up to the wedding I had a meeting with my DJ and he was very impressed with Melissa's wedding day timeline and floor plan she created. It made the DJ meeting so much easier as we planned out which songs to play at what time during the course of the wedding day. My photographer/videographer also told me on the wedding day how detailed and impressed they were with the timeline, which was very helpful for them to cover the shots they needed to.

On our wedding day, Melissa and her team came prepared and ready to go all with all their bright personalities. They set up all the things I had like signage, menu cards exactly the way we planned. You can tell they all love what they do! If there was an issue, Melissa was there to keep you calm. She and her team made my wedding the Best Day Ever! I literally felt like I was in a fairytale movie the entire day because of them. Thank you so much again Knot Too Shabby Events!!

Melissa was recommended to me as a top choice by my wedding venue, and top notch is MORE than what she is! I hired Melissa over a year out before my special day and she was there for me at close reach over a quick email from day one! The support, time, effort, and knowledge of the wedding industry was more than exceptional. The checklist and portal she supplies you with to prepare for your wedding allows planning to be seamless without any details being missed. She supplies you with all the tools you need to have your dream wedding day. On the day of the wedding I felt 100% confident in her taking control of organizing all of the vendors and keeping the wedding party and family on schedule. I did a lot of DIY for my wedding and she was able to arrange and style all of my items just as I had explain to her and shown her in inspiration photos! She and other KTSE staff were very detail oriented and were very pleasant to work with! On the morning of my wedding I had one of her assistants with me to carry out some last minute tasks (breakfast/lunch for the girls, confirming transportation for the guest to the venue, taking items to the venue, etc) which was more than helpful when a bride is getting caught up in the excitement of her wedding day! KTSE allowed me to enjoy my wedding day without the stress of all the moving parts. I am incredibly thankful to have chosen Melissa and her staff to be a part of our day, she is one of the greatest reasons why our memories of that day are so beautiful.

Go ahead and book them right now. All their awards are extremely deserved and honestly don’t even begin to show how amazing all of the Knot Too Shabby Event team is. Melissa is a true gem. From day one, we were comfortable, laughing, but also getting down to business over Zoom. She knows anything and everything and there is no dumb question you can ask her. She will become your best friend and go-to-gal. We planned our wedding from Charlotte and Melissa truly helped us tie everything together perfectly with so much less stress on me and my now husband! She knows all the vendors and what to expect. Where to budget and where to splurge. Tips and tricks GALORE. And the most important thing… on our wedding day, Melissa and her team were ON IT. There was no task or challenge they were not up to. I was laughing, I was crying, and I always had a drink in my hand. From carrying my wedding dress and veil, bringing around a speaker with me during photos, helping me bustle and put my shoes on. I truly felt so loved and cared for. These people are THE BEST at what they do, and I honestly cannot recommend them enough. They will make your wedding day PERFECT. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
