At Mindful Ministries Officiants, we believe that your wedding day should be an intimate and magical moment that truly reflects the love shared between you and your partner. Our experienced officiants are dedicated to helping you design a heartfelt wedding ceremony that beautifully showcases your relationship, backgrounds, and personalities.

Our officiants take the time to understand the essence of your relationship through multiple meetings with you. From there, we work closely with you to create a customized ceremony that includes the perfect blend of structure, readings, and rituals. Whether you come from Christian, religious, non-religious, or different cultural backgrounds, we tailor the ceremony to your wishes.

Meet Our Officiants:

Rev. William (Bill) Mies:

Rev. Bill founded Mindful Ministry in 2009 and brings a wealth of experience to your wedding day. With a B.A. degree in philosophy and extensive graduate work in Theology, equivalent to a Masters of Divinity, Bill is an ordained Catholic Priest. Today, as a married priest, he is affiliated with the International Council of Community Churches and CITI Ministries.

Rev. Joanne Marshall-Mies:

After five years of working with Rev. Bill in his wedding ministry, Rev. Joanne joined Mindful Ministry as an officiant in 2014. She is affiliated with the Universal Life Church and shares Bill's passion for crafting unique and meaningful wedding ceremonies. Joanne is also a Research Psychologist with a special interest in couple's relationships.
