At the heart of Platinum Cake Designs is the creative genius behind the exquisite cakes, Pastry Chef Nevia Giles. With a lifelong passion for baking and cake decorating, Nevia has honed her skills and turned her love for sweet creations into a thriving business venture.

Nevia's journey began with early exposure to the kitchen, where her mother encouraged her and her siblings to explore their creativity through various crafts. Baking quickly became Nevia's chosen outlet for expressing her love and artistic flair. Her baking prowess expanded while she pursued a Business degree at Boston University, sharing her delectable treats with friends and family.

The pivotal moment arrived when Nevia was entrusted with the task of creating her sister's wedding cake. The success of the cake, both in taste and design, ignited Nevia's ambition to share her talents on a larger scale. After over a decade in utility and consulting, Nevia decided to follow her heart, enrolling in the Pastry and Baking program at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York. Armed with new skills and a burning passion, Nevia returned to Atlanta and founded Platinum Cake Designs in 2015.
