Meet Nathaniel Cook - Cellist and Owner

At the helm of Cavalle Quartet is Nathaniel Cook, a native Texan and a highly sought-after musician renowned for their unique musicianship that transcends genres. Nathaniel's musical journey began in California, where they discovered their ability to perform across a diverse range of musical styles. This versatility led them to collaborate with rock bands, jazz ensembles, percussion groups, pop acts, and Indian classical music ensembles. Their stage experience includes renowned venues like Bass Hall, AT&T Performing Arts Center, Segerstrom Center for the Arts, Winspear Opera House, and The House of Blues in Dallas, Santa Monica, and Irvine.

Apart from their vibrant career as a soloist, Nathaniel has also made their mark in recording studios, contributing to labels such as Sony, Warner, and Naxos. Their journey with the cello began at the age of 9, and they currently perform on an unmarked Italian Cello dating back to 1785. Nathaniel's extensive musical education includes studying cello at Chapman University Conservatory of Music under the guidance of esteemed teachers like Roger Lebow, Jacob Braun, Lazlo Mezzo, and Lindsey Stortz.
